Good Morning!!  It’s Tuesday, May 23rd

  • 8th grade softball players to Dolan's room right after school.
  • Softball hosts Buffalo today starting at 4:15 with the A team. The B team game will follow at about 5:15.

  • Baseball hosts Becker starting at 4:15 today with the A team. The B team game will follow at about 5:15.

  • The Knights 8th grade B team took on the Knights 7th grade B team last night and both teams played great games. The 8th grade team had a steller in the park home run hit by Riley A. and had some great plays on defense getting 6 7th grade players on the bases. The 7th grade team fought hard with runs scored by Tyler H. Isaiah V. and Adriano in the end 8th grade defeated 7th grade with a score of 13 to 8.

  • Girls Softball had another great game last night with the A team bringing home a 5-3 win. Leading the pack was Savannah S. with some excellent catching skills including throwing an out at 3rd. Zoe B also had a great grab in left field. Addie B, Mckenna M, Delaney S, Zoey H, and Addy T all brought in runs last night. Great job Knights!
  • As we are nearing the end of the school year, PLEASE remember to bring your chromebooks to school, all charged and ready to go.  Helpful reminders would be to put a note on your backpack or charge your chromebook near your phone.

  • Conservation crew will be having our final meeting of the year this Friday.  We will be digging and planting our prairie plants.  Please plan to stay after school this Friday, May 26th to do our garden planting.  See you after school this Friday!

  • Attention water lovers! Interested in learning to dive or improving your skills on the diving board?  There is an awesome opportunity to sign up for a summer dive camp! If you are at all interested, please pick up a flyer in the office or talk to Coach Scoblic in the office. 

  • We want to remind everyone about the importance of following reasonable requests from teachers and staff. Reasonable requests are made for your safety, and the safety of others, and to help maintain a positive learning environment. 

    • Here are a few examples of reasonable requests:

    • Keeping our hands and feet to ourselves

    • Using kind words and actions

    • Staying in designated areas during lunch and recess

    • Wearing appropriate clothing and following dress code guidelines

    • Keeping the classroom and school grounds clean and tidy

    • When you follow these requests, you are showing respect for your school, your teachers, and your peers. It also helps to create a positive and safe environment for everyone.

  • Do you want to be a part of student council next year? Student council organizes activity nights and tries to plan a few other fun events during the school year. If you'd like to be considered, go to the KORT Google Classroom page by today, Tuesday 5/23, and fill out the Google Form.   

  • If you are interested in running for student council, you can also make one poster explaining why you'd think you would be a good representative. Voting will take place on Friday May 26th.  

  • For all 8th grade boys and 7th and 8th grade girls interested in fall Cross Country here are some summer running times, locations, and days. Boys will meet at the Rec Center in Saint Michael on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7 AM. While the girls will meet at the Middle School West track Monday at 8:30 AM, Wednesday at 8:30 AM, and Friday at 7 AM.   • We are out back for recess today.

  • The main entree is chicken teriyaki with steamed rice.

  • The pizza options are pepperoni, cheese, or cheesy french bread with marinara sauce.

  • The sides are steamed broccoli, assorted veggies, assorted fruit, and milk.
