Good morning!!  It’s Tuesday, November 17th, and it is a Blue Day.

7th and 8th graders, Winter sports registration is now open for Wrestling and Girls Basketball, and Boys Basketball. Check out the MSE Activities website to learn more.

DI is an international problem-solving competition for students of all ages. If you are interested in student-led STEAM-based challenges that focus on problem solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration then DI is just the activity for you!  You can find the registration form on the MSE Activities page or pick one up in the office. Check in with Mrs. Lindquist if you have any questions.

Attention 7th and 8th Graders: We invite anyone and everyone to join the STMA speech team! If you are interested in improving your public speaking, enjoy current events, like to act, or all of the above, please plan to have your parents attend an informational meeting Tuesday, November 17th at 7pm. The meeting will be via Google Meets. If you have any questions regarding the speech program, please reach out to Mrs. Schleicher or Mrs. Gritti at Middle School East.

MATHCOUNTS is open to any students in grades 6-8 who enjoy math and are looking for a challenge.
It will meet after school in Mr. Mueller's room (B202) at MS East.  
It will normally meet on Tuesdays (Blue or A students) and Thursdays (Gold or B students) and will last until 4:30.
Contact Mr. Mueller at MS East if you have questions.

Youth Matters is going virtual. If you are currently attending, you will receive details at Youth Matters this week. If you want to sign up for Youth Matters, you may still do so. The form is online or contact Mr. Holler for details.

Students who are interested in Ski Club or Science Olympiad should pick up a flyer in the office.

The book fair is virtual this year! You can still order books and goodies.  You actually might get a better selection! It will run November 11th through November 24th. The link for the virtual fair is on the media center website! Check it out and show your parents!

Attention students, if you do not have a device at home for Distance Learning, please let your SEL teacher know, and they will get your name to Mrs. Schleicher to get you a chromebook.

During distance learning, free meals will be available to enrolled students on all scheduled school days. Daily meal pick up is available starting November 23. Families may pick up FREE meals at the High School door B or MSE main door Monday through Friday from 11:00-12:30 p.m. One breakfast and one lunch will be provided per student. There is no need to pre-order meals for daily pick-up. 

Today’s hot lunch option is breaded pork patty with mashed potatoes, and the cold lunch option is a bento-box southwest chicken salad with fritos corn chips.
