The STMA varsity wrestling team is competing in the state tournament Thursday, February 27th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  We are offering a fan bus for our 7th & 8th grade students to watch the team.  We will be attending the Knight’s second match of the day at 1:00.  In the event that they do not reach the semifinal match then students will stay at school.  Money will be refunded if this is the case.

The student fan bus will leave MSE at 11:15 AM and attend the 1:00 match.  Students will eat during the first lunch shift before leaving MSE. Students will not arrive back to MSE until approximately 4:30 PM, and potentially later.  This means parents must provide transportation from MSE to your home in the afternoon.

Middle School wrestlers and managers may ride the fan bus which leaves Middle School West at 7:30 AM and attend both the 9:00 match and the 11am/1:00pm match.  Students will be dropped off back at Middle School West at approximately 4:30pm.  This means, you must arrange transportation to Middle School West in the morning and from West back to your home in the afternoon.

A check made out to District 885 for $18 and this permission form must be turned into the main office by 3:15 on Tuesday, February 25th    No forms or fees will be accepted after that time!! This will cover the cost of your ticket and the bus. If students wish to purchase food or drink at the concession stands, they may do so, but keep in mind that food at the Xcel is expensive.  You must fill out the grade information on the back of the permission slip to attend the tournament. The form must be signed by a parent or guardian.  REFUND POLICY: Students will be refunded their money if we do not get enough people to sign up for a bus or if the team does not advance to the semi-finals and the bus is not sent.   Students will not receive a refund if they sign up to go, but decide not to go.  See Mr. Holler with questions.
