THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Tuesday night’s Cancer Awareness Girls’ and Boys' Basketball game a huge success!  It was an amazing night where hundreds of people rallied around Paula, Tom, Carter, and Tyler. Because of the generosity of so many, we raised over $13,000 for the Wurst family. The family was extremely appreciative of all the support that was shown for them. Through our Cancer Awareness game the past 10 years, we have donated over $83,000 to twelve families affected by disease.  A huge shout out to the Buffalo Bison! The players, coaches, and managers all wore “Get Busy Living” shirts purchased by their booster clubs. Prior to the game they joined us on court for a picture with the Wurst Family. Although rivals on the court, off the court we rally around each other!  Thank you again to those who donated, the many people who helped prepare and make the event run smoothly, and to all who attended the games!  The night was truly inspiring. Here is a link to the video (Cancer Night - medium music volume on Vimeo) played in between the boys' and girls' varsity games. Thank you to High School teacher, Jox Metcalf, for making the amazing video!    -STMA Girls and Boys Basketball
