Good morning!!  It’s Tuesday, February 4th.

It is DAY 3!

The Girls' and Boys' Cancer Awareness game is TODAY February 4th.  Please join us as we unite to raise funds for the family of Tom and Paula Wurst.  Almost $6000 in raffle prizes have been donated including a remote control car valued at $250, timberwolves tickets, gopher hockey tickets, yeti cooler, and a variety of raffle baskets ranging in value from $100-$400. Lower level games start at 4:00 p.m.  The boys' varsity will play at 5:45 p.m. and the girls' varsity will follow at 7:30 p.m.  Fans wearing their "Get Busy Living" shirt get in free!!!  Hope to see you there!!!   


Attention all 8th Grade Girls soccer players:

There will be a GIRLS HS soccer informational meeting for players and parents on Thursday, February 20th at 6pm in the MSW cafeteria.  We hope to see you there!  Any questions please contact Coach Megan Johnson at meganj@mystma.org

 

This week we recognize and express our appreciation for our school counselors! A huge "Thank You" goes out to Ms. Knudson and Ms. Mesna for all you do to support our students, their families and our entire staff here at Middle School East!!

Attention MSE students and staff: Student Council will be hosting their annual winter fundraiser THIS WEEK. We will be supporting the We Help Two: Socks for Legs program this year. Students and staff can purchase packs of socks for $12. You can also pick up order forms in the office. Order forms and payment must be turned in by Friday, February 7th. See Mrs. Gritti, Mrs. Lindquist, or a Student Council representative with questions.


Attention, yearbook staff! Our final meeting of the school year is this Wednesday, February 5th from 3:10-4:00 p.m. in Lab A. Wear blue and gold for our group pic. See you there!


Entrepreneurship is selling pink bandanas for the Wurst family for the basketball double header cancer night, TONIGHT February 4th. All the proceeds from the bandanas will go directly to the Wurst family in the STMA Community.  All bandanas will be $3 for 1 or 2 for $5 on sale on the school store website!!


Attention 8th graders:  The Color Guard is looking for students for our 2020 parade season. See Mr. Jordheim for a flier and more information. Practices begin in the high school Activities gym March 2, 2020.


Do you like QUIZ SHOWS and interesting facts, then this is for YOU!  Knowledge Bowl is an exciting way to learn more and compete with others at the same time.  Starts Feb 5, & meets Wednesdays from 3:15-4:00 in Mr. Sartori's room. Register through Community Ed.  See Mr. Sartori or Mrs. Pendill if you have any questions!!


Are you interested in or want to learn more about theater? Join the Drama Club starting on February 10th. Drama Club will meet Mondays after school right here at Middle School East from 3:30-4:45! Sign up through Community Education. 


Do you have a passion for writing? Writers Club is a safe place for students who are passionate about writing and want to try new types of writing styles.  Writers Club is meeting now until March 23rd. Sign up is through Community Ed.

7th grade boys basketball:  You have a HOME game at 4:15 vs. Buffalo.  2 B games only: B Blue @ 4:00 & B Gold @ 5:00.  No A game.
