Good morning!!  It’sThursday, January 30th. It is DAY 3!

Attention MSE students and staff: Student Council will be hosting their annual winter fundraiser, starting Monday, February 3rd through Friday, February 7th. We will be supporting the We Help Two: Socks for Legs program this year. Students and staff can purchase packs of socks (one pack = 3 pairs of socks) for $12. If we sell 90 packs, we get to donate one prosthetic leg to someone in need. We will also receive socks to donate to local people in need. The socks come in all sizes, styles, and colors. Pick up order forms in the morning at the concession stand starting on February 3rd; you can also pick up order forms in the office. Order forms and payment must be turned in by Friday, February 7th. Our goal is to be able to donate 2 prosthetic legs, so we want to sell at least 180 packs! There will be an informational presentation given in KORT on Thursday, January 30th. See Mrs. Gritti, Mrs. Lindquist, or a Student Council representative with questions.

Entrepreneurship is selling pink bandannas for the Wurst family for the basketball double header cancer night, this Tuesday, February 4th. All the proceeds from the bandannas will go directly to the Wurst family.  Tom and Paula Wurst have been active in the STMA community since 2001. In October, 2017, at age 40, Tom was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Recently, they found out that the cancer has spread. Throughout this difficult time, the family has been extremely thankful to live in a community with such amazing people that support them.

There will be bandannas for sale in the main offices at all schools and we will be collecting the money next Monday, February 3rd. All bandannas will be $3 for 1 or 2 for $5. Please help if you can. If you cannot buy them at these locations, they will also be for sale on the school store website.
