Sports Results

The 8th grade softball teams beat Monticello Thursday. Erin H. pitched her first game in an 11-3 B game win. Key hits in the game included singles by Emma B. and Lexi H. and a double by Erin.  Erin then drove in 3 runs with a double in the first inning of the A game giving the Knights an early lead.  Then Anika R. took over, pitching a 10 strikeout, no-hitter in a 4-0 win.

7th Grade softball did a wonderful job against Monticello last night. Team B started us off with a win 15-4. Alary W. hit a beautiful double that helped us gain a lead. Lauryn M. and Ashley S. did a fabulous job pitching. Mikayla A. rocked a single out that allowed a runner to advance home. Team A had their most competitive game of the season that ended with a score of 9-11. Sidney P. started the team out with a triple to center field. Makenna P. had a flawless double play by catching a fly ball and stepping on third base. Ella M. had the most beautiful sacrificial bunt that helped advance all runners. Kiera K. raced to catch a fall ball that helped us tie up the game for awhile there. Way to go ladies, it was a great night of softball.
