The school district appreciates your interest in our school board. School board elections are held every two (2) years for our six (6) member board who run on four-year terms.   Minnesota has an election law, called the Fair Campaign Law (Chapter 211B) that restricts the activities a public employee or entity can engage in with respect to political campaigns and elections. The school district is permitted to give factual information on such issues as a school levy, but is otherwise prohibited from providing additional information on issues like school board candidates. Further, the school district does not take any position on the candidacy of any person running for the school board.   For this reason, the district must refrain from providing detailed candidate information or web site links, or Questions and Answers, or similar informational resources beyond what is listed here. The district regrets any inconvenience.
