Special Services
Welcome to the Special Services web page for the St. Michael-Albertville School District. The purpose of Special Services at STMA is to facilitate appropriate education for students with diverse learning needs and abilities; this is accomplished through collaboration with general education to provide a continuum of services in partnership with families and community agencies.
Services are available for learners who meet eligibility requirements established by state and federal education departments in the following: Special Education, Section 504, and the Homeless/McKinney-Vento Act.

Responsible for district office coordination of special services purchasing, budget coding, certified and special education support staff reporting and training requirements, human resources and payroll interfacing, support staffing for special transportation, professional development registration.

Responsible for district office coordination of student data management system for special education and Section 504; records requests; support for MARSS reporting, tuition billing, and third-party billing; processing special transportation requests.
