Health Insurance Plans
STMA's health insurance plans are provided by BlueCross BlueShield of MN under their Aware Network. Employees can choose between four different high-deductible plans. Deductibles accumulate on the calendar year, with a 4th quarter carryover for VEBA, HSA, and Hybrid plans (not eligible for MVP plans).
Important Update: Effective July 1, 2026, STMA's medical plans will be administered by HealthPartners under their Open Access network. We will continue to offer the same VEBA, HSA, Hybrid, and MVP plans.
