STMA Schools Offers Exceptional Benefits Plans

Our benefits offerings include: Medical Coverage (including options for HAS or FSA), Dental Coverage, Life Insurance Long Term Disability Coverage, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts. Please explore this webpage for additional information about each of these benefits.

When Can Employees Enroll?

There are three events that may open an enrollment window:

1. The start of employment. New employees have 30 days from their first date of employment to make their benefits elections.

2. A change of life event. Employees who experience a qualifying life event such as a marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, gain or loss of other coverage, have a 30-day enrollment period following that event.

3. Open enrollment. The district holds open enrollment for two weeks every September. This is the time where all employees are eligible to make changes to their benefits elections for the following plan year.

Where Can Employees Enroll?

When you are ready to enroll please access BenefitFocus. This is a single sign on website/app for district employees. It is recommended to access this app through the waffle icon in the upper right-hand corner of your staff google account.

The documents below provide a brief overview of the benefits available to eligible employees as well as premium information associated with each plan. To access the information for your employee group, please click the appropriate link below. 

NOTE: The district contribution rates listed on these documents are for a full-time (1.0 FTE) employee. If you work less than 1.0 FTE, your district contributions will be pro-rated accordingly. Your actual monthly cost will vary from what is shown.
