For some families, homeschooling is the appropriate educational choice for their child. STMA Schools has an obligation to assure compliance with the compulsory attendance requirements under the law (MN Statute 120A.22). If you determine homeschool is the best option for your child(ren), please complete and submit the appropriate forms:
- Submit before October 1 of the FIRST YEAR of homeschooling to the resident district, or within 15 days of withdrawing a child from a public school in order to homeschool (MN Statute 120A.24)
- Submit before October 1 of EACH YEAR after the instructor has provided the same resident district with a Homeschool Full Report the prior year.
Aids to Nonpublic Pupils Forms
A small amount of financial reimbursement is available through the State of Minnesota's Aids to Nonpublic Students program. The DEADLINE for intent to participate is October 1.
