Middle School East has been recognized by MDE as one of Minnesota's Sustaining Exemplar Schools in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports).
At Middle School East we take a collaborative, proactive approach with students, staff and families to improve school safety and climate. Learning specific strategies that promote positive behavior is an important part of the developmental growth middle level students experience at East. The Administration and Staff utilize a data driven approach to making decisions that enhance academic and social outcomes for students. We appreciate the strong support of our families and communities in collaboratively focusing on the social, emotional, mental and physical growth of our students.
