STMA will turn the lights on at the HS stadium & MW field on April 13 at 8:20 pm as a "Ray of Hope" for our students & our community. The lights will remain on for 20 min in honor of our Class of 2020. Join us by turning on your porch lights. As we all know, Governor Tim Walz has encouraged us to #StayHomeMN. For that reason, and for the health of our communities, we are asking that people not gather at the fields. If you want to see the lights up close, we ask that you stay in your cars and follow the protocol for each school outlined below.
At the HS, enter the main parking lot using the middle entrance (near the softball fields). Drive through the parking lot and turn to enter Lot C. Exit the grounds by continuing through Lot C and exiting using the bus/service road.
At MW, enter the grounds using the west entrance closest to the stop lights. Continue around the back of the school next to the field and exit using the eastern exit.
When the lights are turned off, the expectation is the grounds are closed.
Remember you can join us from home by turning on your porch lights and taking a picture with your family. Please tag us using #BetheLightSTMA #knightspride
