Welcome to the Special Services web page for the St. Michael-Albertville School District! The purpose of Special Services at STMA is to facilitate appropriate education for students with diverse learning needs and abilities; this is accomplished through collaboration with general education to provide a continuum of services in partnership with families and community agencies.
Services are available for learners who meet eligibility requirements established by state and federal education departments in the following: Special Education, Section 504, and the Homeless/McKinney-Vento Act.

Paraprofessional Recognition Week January 25-31, 2021
Paraprofessionals are individuals who work in a variety of positions in our school district, including instructional and pupil support assistants, special education paraprofessionals, job coaches, lunch room and playground assistants, transportation student support, health office assistants, and administrative clerical support.
