Kids Play is a quality, extended day childcare program that is a well-supervised environment where children can develop physical, social and emotional skills. We provide your child with a wide variety of activities that enrich their learning, encourage friendships and provide opportunities for exploration.
Kids Play is sponsored by St. Michael-Albertville Community Education.
Kids Play is open Monday through Friday from 6 AM-6 PM. We offer school year and summer programs including most no school days, Winter & Spring Break.
Just 4 Kids is a full day childcare program through Kids Play for children who are 4 years old by September 1.
SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAMS
During the school year, Kids Play is for children in Kindergarten-4th grades.
Just 4 Kids program is for children 4 years of age by Sept. 1.
- A minimum of 3 days a week is required and the days have to be the same from week to week. No rotating schedules.
Before school: Between 6:00 AM and the time school begins with care provided at the following site:
- All children are at the Community Ed. Center for before school childcare.
After school: Between the end of the school day and 6:00 PM with care provided at the following sites:
- Albertville Primary
- Big Woods
- Community Ed. Center (St. Michael Elementary)
No School Days / Winter & Spring Break: Registration is done online through your billing account. The deadline is 14 days prior to each no school day. Care for all no school days is at the Community Ed. Center.
JUST 4 KIDS PROGRAM:
Children must be 4 years of age by Sept. 1st and only Monday through Friday schedules are allowed. For more information go to the Just 4 Kids page.
During the summer, children entering into Kindergarten through 6th grade are eligible.
- Full Time: 5 days per week
- Part Time: 3 or 4 days per week. (Minimum of 3 days/week with no rotating schedules)
Kids Play: Children who are Pre-Kindergarten (entering Kindergarten in the fall) through 2nd grade. The program is located at the Community Education Center.
Club Knights: Children currently in 3-6 grade. Program located at Middle School East. Club Knights will operate on the same concept as Kids Play with a few changes. Club Knights members will have more freedom and less direct supervision in order to provide them with the opportunity to be responsible and make good choices. Club Knights children will be able to sign themselves in upon arrival. They will have access to the computer lab, gym, tennis courts, and swimming pool.
