At STMA, in partnership with our supportive families, generous community, and extraordinary staff, we proudly serve over 6500 students and have become a destination district for students and families throughout Minnesota. 

Our mission is to provide a safe educational environment where students develop lifelong learning skills that nurture positive attitudes and self-worth. We focus our efforts on ensuring each student is a self-directed learner, effective communicator, and responsible citizen. Our vision statement reflects our commitment to a balanced and high quality education:

This starts in the classroom, where our rigorous E-12 curriculum along with personalized learning focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st century. High-quality instruction and effective programming ensure students are prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.

Learning and growth occur outside of the classroom as well. Students excel not only in academics but also in the arts, activities, and athletics. Our students and teams are consistently recognized at the regional, state, and national levels.
