Spring Activities Information
7th and 8th grade parents and guardians,
Click here to register for STMA middle school distance learning sports. The cost is free and will be hosted by STMA coaches through google classroom. If you had already registered your child for Spring sports, your registration fee has been refunded. Spring sports will begin on Monday April 13th with google classroom registration codes being sent to the email addresses you provide on this form.
What are distance learning sports?
STMA middle school baseball, softball, boys tennis, golf and track and field coaches are creating google classrooms for each sport to organize workouts and ways for athletes to connect with their coaches and teammates online. Distance learning sports are open to 7th and 8th grade students. We recognize that middle school students need connection and physical activity during distance learning.
St. Michael Catholic School Families
In order to have access to the google classrooms that are being set up, your child will need a mystma.org email address. After registering using the link above we will work with our tech department to issue a mystma.org to your child so they can participate.
What if we go back to school on May 5th?
There has been preliminary discussion regarding a four week season that would run from May 5th to May 28th. If that is the case we would have registration through FeePay with prorated rates for the shortened season. If students do not return to their buildings this year, Distance Spring Sports will run from April 13th to May 28th.
An email was sent to STMA MSE, MSW and St. Michael Catholic 7th and 8th grade parents on Tuesday March 31st regarding Spring sports. If you are in this group and did not receive this email, please check your email junk folder or update your email address in ParentVue to ensure your receipt of future messages.
Please contact me if you need any assistance.

STMA Middle School West
All Middle School sports registration is done online using ParentVue. Go to your ParentVue account and select Fee Pay. Then select FeePay again below your student’s picture. This will take you to a separate Fee Pay window. Click the picture of the bus, soccer player and graduates. Select the activity your student would like to participate in. The system will indicate if your students sport physical is on file. It will allow you to proceed if the sports physical is recorded and up-to-date. You will not be able to register until a current sport physical is on file and recorded in the system. Once the form is completed online and the fee is paid, you will receive confirmation that your son or daughter is eligible to participate.
Please make sure that the Middle School West Activities Office has a sports physical on file for your son or daughter. Physicals are good for three years, so most incoming 8th graders that played sports last year have a physical on file. The Minnesota State High School league requires participants in interscholastic sports to have a physical examination every three years. If your son/daughter decides to participate in interscholastic athletics this year, a physical examination is required before they may register or practice. Physicals may be performed by your medical doctor or a doctor of chiropractic (good for three years). Download a copy of the Physical Form to bring to your medical appointment.
