Posted on: Sep 27, 2017
Good morning, it is Wednesday, September 27th. It is a day 2. Today is wacky Wednesday/crazy hairday.
Attention students: We would like to remind you of some expectations that need to be followed as they pertain to our school dress code and the remainder of the dress up days this week.
All dress-up day wear needs to abide by our school dress code from page two of the Student Handbook with the exception of:
- Hats and head coverings are allowed as long as they fit with theme of the dress-up day and do not cover the face.
- Face paint that covers the face is not allowed. However, on Friday (Spirit Day), face paint under the eyes or on the cheek that fits with the theme will be allowed. Example: STMA painted under each eye would be allowed.
With the cooler weather upon us, we would like to review the expectations for lunch and recess. Because students are not allowed to go to lockers during lunch, you must bring your sweatshirts/Jackets with you to lunch. Once you go outside for recess, you are to stay outside for the remainder of recess. Also, be sure you are aware of the recess zones. There are posters in the cafeteria outlining the recess zones.
The annual homecoming tailgating party will be this Friday at the varsity football field beginning at 4:30. There will be food and games. Come on out and enjoy the festivities before the Knights football game with Totino Grace. Presale tickets to the game and the tailgate event will be available at the high school activity office starting tomorrow.
All youth soccer players wearing a soccer jersey will get into the boys’ AND girls’ soccer games on this Saturday for FREE.
Upcoming varsity events you can get into for free by wearing your Knights Against Cancer t-shirt: next Monday’s tennis match with Becker, the girls’ soccer game against Chisago Lakes next Tuesday, and the STMA cross country invitational next Tuesday.
