Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 - Day 1

Posted on: Dec 6, 2017

Good morning, it is Wednesday, December 6th.  It is a day 1.

Hey Middle School West, are you up for a challenge? Student Council wants to see if in ONE week, we can collect $1200.  Here’s why…….we will be donating the money to various causes in our community, like the Hanover Food Shelf, Caring for Kids toy drive, and Coaches vs. Cancer event. So look for that spare change……scrounge in the couch cushions, dig in the pockets, break open the piggy bank!

Attention all 8th graders: today during SNAP, you will attend a presentation in the auditorium on planning for your future in the high school and beyond. Please report to your SNAP teacher as you will head to the auditorium as a class.

The St. Michael Lions 2017 Drug Awareness Poster Contest ends this Friday.  Posters need to be turned into Mrs. Lapointe or the office by Friday.

Students interested in SoarArts performances should pick up a flyer in the office.

Students interested in signing up for lacrosse should pick up a flyer in the office.

Both the 8th grade A, and Blue B basketball teams traveled to Chisago Lakes on Monday afternoon, and each team lost in close battles with the Wildcats. The defeats moved both teams’ records to 2 and 3 on the season.   Abby C. was huge on the defensive end, and tallied 8 rebounds, and Karlee B.  showed off her quickness on her way to a team high 11 points.

Lunch today:  Lines one and two have cheese ravioli with marinara sauce.  Line three has meatball sub on a hoagie bun, PBJ grape, and deli turkey sandwiches.

Have a great day.
