Good morning, it is Wednesday, April 19th.  It is a day 2. 

Attention 6th grade students:  Today and tomorrow you will be taking the MCA Reading Test.  You will be testing with the assigned testing teacher that you were given during 4th hour yesterday and hopefully you are in that location right now.  If you were not here yesterday or are not sure who your testing teacher is, go to the office or check the green sheets outside your teachers’ classrooms.  Remember to leave your phone or electronic device in your locker and bring a book to read.

Attention 7th graders.  Remember your WEB Leader application for the 2017-2018 school year is due to Mrs. Peterson or Mr. Canton by next Monday.  Applications WILL NOT be accepted after 3:15 on Monday!If you missed the informational meeting on Tuesday, please stop by either Mrs. Peterson or Mr. Canton’s room for an application. 

SOAR this summer!  SOAR is offering a first-ever teen intensive production of Legally Blonde the Musical for ages 13-19.  Also available are summer theater camps for ages 7-12, with productions of Disney's Aristocats, The Magic Treehouse Pirates Past Noon, Pippi Longstocking, and Frankenstein!  Visit www.soararts.com for more info and to register!  

Tryouts are tomorrow for all 8th Graders interested in trying out for the fall sideline cheer team and 6th- 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the varsity or JV competitive cheer teams.  A clinic to prepare for tryouts will take place tonight from 6-8pm in the Middle School East gym.   For more information, check out the STMA cheerleading website or talk to Ms. Stephens.

7th & 8th grade spring athletes, mid tri is this Friday.  Make sure you are passing all of your classes, so that you can remain eligible to play your sport.

There will be an entrepreneurship group from the High School selling their products on April 26th and 27th.  There will be products like sweatshirts, lanyards, hats, popsockets etc. Bring money the items could range from anywhere between $5-$40." 

The high school varsity girls golf team finished third at the Mississippi 8 West meet yesterday with a 215.   Ellie Breuer shot a 97 and Clare Haakenson a 105.

Main lunch line has breaded pork patties, romaine salad, whipped potatoes, gravy, steamed carrots, bread, applesauce, and fresh fruit.  The alternate line has PBJ grape, marinara meatball sub on a hoagie bun, romaine salad, crinkle cut fries, and assorted fruits and vegetables.
