The 8th grade volleyball teams continued their winning streak defeating Chisago Lakes last Thursday. Great serving  from Trinity R.  and Jenna J. led the A team while Kailey B. and Jaricha K. led the B team.  The girls took on Big Lake last night with hustle and teamwork creating wins for both teams again. Kaitlyn M. and Mady R. made some key passes to lead the offense with Brenna M. and Angelika M. leading in serving. Strong serving and offense from Brooke M., Julia I. and Avery K.led the way for the A team with wins all around. Keep up the great work ladies!

On Monday night the 7th grade volleyball team played Big Lake.  Both A and B teams came away with wins.  The B team lost the first game but came back strong ready to play and took the next two games.   Jocelyn K. was able to help get some key plays over the net to help the Knights in their win.  In the A game the Knights dominated 3 to 0.  The Knights gave up fewer than 12 points in each game.  Makiah K. came up big on the serving line.  We were able to get some great hits from Julia W.  All of our setters continue to work hard at getting the ball to our hitter.

The girls swim team won their meet with Buffalo last night by a convincing margin. The girls are swimming stronger every week. Several girls cut time in their events last night.  Cutting time in the 100 free were Hannah T, Allie L. and Ava Y. Cutting time in the 100 back was Avery H.

The girls’ soccer B team faced a tough North Branch squad last night and walked away with a hard-fought score of 1-1.  Scoring for the B team was Zaya E.  Making huge saves in the goal last night were Edie N and Olivia O.  Leading the back line with key clearances were Nikki B and Erin M.  Overall, great play by all involved.
