Good morning, it is Tuesday, January 16th.  It is a day 2. 

Attention Student Council-  There will be no meeting tomorrow morning!  See Ms. Paasch or Ms. Barrett if you have questions.

Super job to our newest Knights Honor winners.  They are:  5th graders:  Kai S. and Jolette P.A., 6th graders: Cameron Re. and Jack D., 7th graders: Elijah H.  and Jocelyn J., and 8th graders:  Angelika M. and Alexander N.

Congratulations to 7th grader Nate W. on being selected to participate in the Super Bowl 52 festivities through Fuel Up to Play 60!  Nate will be representing STMA MS West on February 1st as he watches and participates in the Farm Bowl Challenge!  Congratulations to 7th graders Hope H., Tamaira N., Emma K., Alyssa S. and Drew B. on being selected to participate in the Super Bowl Saturday Festivities through the Innovation Challenge sponsored by Fuel Up to Play 60.  They will present an idea to increase healthy eating in our school and will compete to win $1,000 grants.  Congratulations to these students on the well-deserved honors!  We are proud that you are representing STMA MS West in Super Bowl 52 activities!

If you would like to purchase a Team Chris shirt  for our Cancer Awareness Boys-Girls Double Header on January 26th. The deadline to order is this Thursday.  Shirts will be delivered to schools January 25th or can be picked up at the game on January 26th.  A portion of each shirt sold will be donated to the Braun family.  Thank you for supporting Chris and her family!  You can order from the STMAGBB girls basketball website: WWW.STMAGBB.COM

Students in grades 6 – 8 that are interested in Weightlifting should pick up a flyer in the office.

Register Online with community education for winter art club. Art Club is for students in GRADES 5-8 interested in being creative and making art. Mrs. Erickson runs art club on Wednesdays from 3:15 until 4:15 for eight weeks and it begins on January 31st.   Registration Ends January 30th

The Knights 7-9th grade boys’ swimmers  won the Tuna Invite at Centennial High School on Saturday.

Wrestling team is home tonight against Foley at 4:15.

7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball teams are at Princeton Middle School tonight.  Bus leaves at 3:20.  A games are first, Gold B teams play.

Lunch today:  Lines one and two have chili with bosco sticks.  Line three has hot turkey, ham, and cheese on a bun, PBJ grape, and deli turkey on a hoagie bun.

Please say the Pledge of Allegiance as a KORT at this time.
