Good morning, it is Thursday, September 14th.  It is a day 2. 

Attention all MSW Students! Yearbook staff application are available in the office.  Applications are due to Mrs. Peterson tomorrow. 

All 4th – 8th grade girls interested trying out for traveling basketball can find information at or contact Coach Hamre.  Tryouts are next Sunday at Middle School West.

All eighth graders that are interested in joining the debate team this year should attend the student and parent informational meeting next Tuesday at 6:30pm in Ms. Devine’s room 2283 at the high school. Please email Ms. Devine at if you have any questions.

Students, Knights Honor drawings will start next Wednesday.  The Knights Honor boxes are in the lunch room on the back tables.  Make sure you put your cards you have received in there for the drawing next week.  Winners will get to use the Knights Honor lounge to have lunch and recess time with their friends on the day they choose.  Remember to keep showing Knights Honor to earn those cards.

STMA Athletes U-KNIGHT against Cancer is two weeks of Cancer Awareness.  Wearing a 2017 U-Knight against Cancer t-shirt will get you into selected varsity games and contests coming up in October for FREE!  We will announce what games you can get into free in a couple of weeks.  All proceeds go to cancer research/prevention (each team will donate to a different cancer research organization).  T-shirts are lavender this year.  The color lavender represents ALL cancer.

Tennis team is at Becker High School tonight.  Bus leaves at 3:20.

Cross Country team is at St. Francis Ponds Golf Course tonight.  Dismissal from class is at 1:25.

8th grade football team is at Isanti Middle School tonight.  B game is first tonight.  Bus leaves at 3:20.

8th grade volleyball team is at Monticello Middle School tonight.  A and B matches played at the same time.  Bus leaves at 3:20.

7th grade football team is home tonight against Isanti at 4:30.  B game is first tonight.

Girls’ soccer team is home (at East) against Princeton tonight at 4:30.  B game is first tonight.  Change clothes here at West and take the second shuttle bus to East with the boys’ soccer players.

Lunch today:  Lines one and two have breaded pork patties.  Line three has spicy chicken patty, PBJ grape, and deli turkey hoagie.
