Thursday, April 20th, 2017 - Day 3

Good morning, it is Thursday, April 20th.  It is a day 3. 

6th Grade students:  Today after KORT you will continue to take your MCA Reading test.  You will report to the same location that you took your test yesterday.  Pleaseremember to leave cell phones and devices in your locker, as they are not allowed in the testing environment.  Remember to use the restroom, get a drink and get a book to read before you go to the testing area.

Attention 7th graders.  Remember your WEB Leader application for the 2017-2018 school year is due to Mrs. Peterson or Mr. Canton by next Monday.  Applications WILL NOT be accepted after 3:15 on Monday!If you missed the informational meeting on Tuesday, please stop by either Mrs. Peterson or Mr. Canton’s room for an application. 

SOAR this summer!  SOAR is offering a first-ever teen intensive production of Legally Blonde the Musical for ages 13-19.  Also available are summer theater camps for ages 7-12, with productions of Disney's Aristocats, The Magic Treehouse Pirates Past Noon, Pippi Longstocking, and Frankenstein!  Visit www.soararts.com for more info and to register!  

Tryouts are tonight for all 8th Graders interested in trying out for the fall sideline cheer team and 6th- 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the varsity or JV competitive cheer teams. 

7th & 8th grade spring athletes, mid tri is tomorrow.  Make sure you are passing all of your classes, so that you can remain eligible to play your sport.

There will be an entrepreneurship group from the High School selling their products on April 26th and 27th.  There will be sweatshirts, lanyards, hats, popsockets etc for sale. Bring money the items could range from anywhere between $5-$40." 

7th & 8th softball is at North Branch Middle School tonight.  Dismissal from class is at 2:30.  Only the 7th grade B team is playing for 7th grade, 8th grade B game is first, followed by the A game.

Track team is home tonight against Buffalo and Monticello at 4:30. 

7th & 8th grade baseball teams are home tonight against Isanti at 4:30.  B games are first.

Main lunch line has walking taco, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, salsa, cilantro lime rice, refried beans, chilled peaches, and fresh fruit.  The alternate line has PBJ grape, grilled cheese tomato soup, romaine salad, sliced pickles, crackers, and assorted fruits and vegetables.
