Parent/Community Technology Education & Broadcast Journalism Curriculum Survey 2017 -2018

Posted on: Oct 5, 2017

From October 6 through October 16, STMA will seek parent and community input in the curricular areas of Technology Education & Engineering (formerly known to many as Shop/woodworking/metals classes) and Broadcast Journalism.
In our middle schools, 8th grade students take their first class introducing them to the content area of Technology Education & Engineering. In high school, students have a wide range of course offerings including, but not limited to, some of the following: Intro to Engineering Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Architecture, Metals, Woodworking, Welding, Machine Tool Technology and Aviation.
Broadcast Journalism course are offered at the high school level only. Students are exposed to course offerings including, but not limited to, some of the following: Television Productions, Video Design, and Multimedia Productions.
Though we cannot promise to fulfill all of your wishes due to graduation requirements, time, and financial limitations, it is our hope that by hearing from you, our partners in education, we will get new ideas on how to improve our curriculum.
Thank you for taking the time to make a difference in the education of our kids.
