The 7th grade boys’ basketball A team beat Buffalo 44-32 last night. The Knights started slow but came on strong as the game went along. With improved effort and team play the boys were able to build a comfortable advantage. Ethan C. and Kaleb K. each scored 10 in the victory. Logan K. had 8 on several nice passes from his teammates. Connor L. had 7 points and again was the spark plug on defense. The Gold B team picked up a victory against Buffalo 38-26. Nine different players scored for the Knights. Carson Z. used his quickness on defense to gain several steals. He ended the game with 10 points. Andrew S. and Owen V. each had 6 points. Owen is a lefty and used some nifty moves around the hoop to earn his points. The Gold team has made huge strides in effort and team play this season.
It was a tough start to the week for our 8th grade Boys Basketball teams as all 3 squads lost in their contests with the Buffalo Bison yesterday afternoon. Justin A. turned in his best game of the season with 7 points, 2 steals and 3 rebounds to lead the Gold team. Johnny T. paced the A team with 11.
7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball teams are home tonight against Isanti at 4:30. A games are first. Blue B teams play tonight.
