Good morning, it is Monday, February 5th.  It is a day 1. 

Best of luck to Colin R.  Colin represents Middle School West today in the regional spelling bee in St. Cloud.  Good luck Colin.

Students interested in the exploratory day activity “Teacher Helper at St. Michael Catholic School” be sure to pick up a preapproval form from Mr. Kucera.  Mr. Kucera is located in room F201 and preapproval forms for this activity need to be returned by tomorrow.

Coach Anderson of the varsity girls’ lacrosse team is holding an informational meeting Thursday after school in the lecture hall for all 7th & 8th grade girls interested in playing on the high school lacrosse teams this spring.

As the Super Bowl Champion Vince Lombardi once said, “It is not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up. The Phy Ed Department is proud to announce the January Fit Kids of the Month. These students have had a few bumps in the road but continue to keep going strong.The Fit Kids of the Month are 5th graders Bella O. and Wes B., 6th graders Grace F. and Jarrod T., 7th graders Nikki B. and Will C., and 8th graders Bjorn W. and Sophia J.  These students exemplify the hard work, good behavior and positive attitude that all PE students should display at MS West.

Lunch today:  Lines one and two have corn dogs.  Line three has sloppy joes, PBJ grape, and deli turkey on a hoagie bun.
