ME Announcements - Wednesday, March 7
Posted on: Mar 7, 2018
Good morning. It is Wednesday, March 7th. It is a day 2.
Parent/teacher conferences are tomorrow night from 3:45 until 7:45.
5th and 6th graders! Your next activity night is coming up this FRIDAY (March 9th) from 6:00-8:30 pm at Middle School East. Cost is $4 with a food item to donate to the Hanover Food Shelf or $5 without. There will be a dance, concessions, bingo, an obstacle course, and swimming (don’t forget your suit and towel). We hope to see you there!
There will be an informational meeting right after school tonight in the cafeteria for all 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing school baseball this spring.
There will be an informational meeting right after school Friday in the cafeteria for all 7th & 8th graders interested in going out for golf this spring.
There will be an informational meeting right after school next Tuesday in the cafeteria for all 7th & 8th grade boys interested in going out for tennis this spring.
Students interested in riding a fan bus down to tomorrow’s state hockey tournament need to turn their permission form in by 9:00 this morning. Unfortunately, there are only 50 tickets available for East students. If more than 50 students turn permission forms in on time, a drawing will be held to select the 50 who will go down to the tournament. Student council will be doing that drawing this morning. A list of the 50 students drawn will be posted in the cafeteria and in the 7th grade pod and in the 8th grade pod. If your name is drawn, you need to bring in your $16 check into the office first thing tomorrow morning. If your name is not drawn, you will be put on a waiting list in order of your drawing. If you are on the waiting list, it might be a good idea to have $16 with you tomorrow because you may end up getting to go if someone gets sick or can’t go for some reason.
A black watch found in 8th grade pod. Please claim it in the office.
A sum of money was found in 8th grade lunch. Please identify the amount to claim in the office.
This week is School Social Worker Appreciation Week. The next time you see Mrs. Buskey, make sure you let her know how awesome she is and how much we appreciate having her at MSE! Thank you for all you do Mrs. Buskey!
Congratulations to Brooke B. and Allie C. They defeated Mr. Olson and Mr. Pothen yesterday and became the first EVER all female team to win the 8th grade Pickleball Championship!
Have a great day.
