The 7th grade boys’ basketball team took on Monticello last night.  The A team won a closely contested game 46-42.  With the game tied at 42 and the Knights coming out of a timeout, Owen H. made a back door cut and got a layup to put the Knights up 2.  Matt M. then got two free throws at the end to seal the win.  Colton D. again led the way with 16 pts with good inside play.  Owen H. was next with 9 pts.  Matt M. had 6 pts.  Michael J. made 4 free throws for 4 pts.  Mason W. had 3 pts.  Zach H. and Brody O. had 2 pts each and Aidan H. had 1 pt.  The Gold B team started quickly, but the Magic went on a big second half run and beat the knights 30-28.  Nathan D. led the way with 16 pts.  Nathan S. and Bennett P. had 4 each.  Daniel P. and Dallon A. had 2 each.

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team played Monticello last night. The A team fell to the Magic, defeated by their screening offense and explosive drives. The Knights were unable to push the ball like they typically do, forcing them to slow down their offense. The Gold team defeated the Monticello Magic 40-33, pushing the tempo of the game and playing well as a team. Levi H. ran the floor well, scoring 8 fast-break points, while Sam F. and Mason W. dished out a combined 12 assists in the game. Parker H. stood tall last night, pulling down rebound after rebound.

Have a great day.
