Good morning.  It is Wednesday, October 11th, it is a day 3.

8th Grade Phy Ed, you will be swimming tomorrow, Friday or Monday. Please make sure you plan ahead and get your suit and towel here!

The 8th grade A football team lost 6-8 to Big Lake Tuesday. Jake S. scored the touchdown and recovered a fumble forced by Alex M.. Carter H. recovered another fumble giving the team one last chance to win.

The B team beat Big Lake 20 -16 on October 10th.  Caden N. connected with Ben K. for a 85 yard scoring pass with just 1:30 left to play.  Caleb B. excelled on both offense and defense.  He threw a scoring pass to Asa T. from 50 yards out and had a huge interception on defense to secure the Knights win.  Jack D., Will S., and Neal K. played solid games on both sides of the ball.  The Knights record moved to 4-1 with an upcoming game with Monticello on Thursday.

Please check the lost and found by the office this week.  All items will be donated after this weekend.

Attention all 5th Graders! This Friday you will have your monthly meeting with your WEB leaders in the large gym during KORT. Please report to KORT at 8:30 and once attendance is taken, head to the large gym for some morning fun.

For those leaving for LLCC in a couple weeks.  Please start bringing in your medications and signed medication forms to the Health Office.  Last day to drop off medications will be next Tuesday. 

You can get into tomorrow night’s swim and dive meet against Cambridge-Isanti for free if you wear your Knights against Cancer t-shirt.  Another free event with your t-shirt is Friday’s football game against Stillwater.

There will be an organizational meeting right after school Friday in the cafeteria for all 7th & 8th grade girls interested in playing school basketball this year.

A watch with a white band was has been found. Some money was found at the Courage Retreat.  Please claim these items in the office.

Students in 7th and 8th grade who are interested in weightlifting should pick up a flyer in the office.

Boys in 5th and 6th grade interested in playing in the in-house basketball league should pick up a flyer in the office

Students interested in Ski Club should pick up a flyer in the office.

Monday was a great night for the girls’ tennis team.  We faced off against Cambridge-Isanti and went away with team victories.  Great individual performances from Abby J., Olivia R., Emily A., Kyra P., and Kendall P..  Great work Knights.

The 8th Grade volleyball team hosted Monticello last night and came out victorious.  The B team played well and had great serving winning 5 of 6.  The A team played a tense match but proved to be too much for the Magic taking all six matches.  Strong serving and great defense again was the key to the victory.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade A volleyball team on their win over Monticello last night!

Congratulations to both the A and B girls' soccer teams for their wins against Monticello last night. The A team started out with lots of energy and played very well as a team, resulting in a 4 to 1 win! Scorers for the A game included Chloe D., Eleanor T., Emma D., and Olivia P.. Assists came from Emma D. and Eleanor T. Ashlyn H. played very well and faced several tough chances. Special shout out goes to Kaylee D. for her great cheer-leading and constant support!  The B team played great and walked away with a 3 to 0 win! Paige K. scored all three goals for the game, and was assisted by Emma W.. Emma T. and Ellsie F. each got a shutout while splitting time in the net. All of the girls worked hard!

Boys’ B soccer team is home tonight against Big Lake at 3:45.
