Announcements - Wednesday, January 14

Posted on: Jan 14, 2015

Good morning.  It is Wednesday, January 14th.  It is a day 1.

Students, if you scored a 41 or higher on your Spelling Bee test, you have qualified for the District Spelling Bee.  Mr. Sukalski met with all those who qualified yesterday.  If Mr. Sukalski did not meet with you and you scored 41 or higher, make sure to let him or your language arts teacher know today that he missed you.

Mr. Cleveland’s classes are down in the Tech lab across from the 6th grade pod today and tomorrow because of NWEA Testing!

A ring was found outside.  Please claim in the office.

7th and 8th graders, we need your HELP! Did you go to Activity Night this fall? Did you take pics on your device? We need them NOW for the yearbook, please! Got pics? Download the ReplayIt app (it’s free!) and submit them OR bring your device by Mrs. Kelm’s room in the morning and share your pics.

Art Club starts next Wednesday, the 21st and will run for 8 weeks.  Your fee covers the supplies and the fieldtrip.  We will be painting, making pottery, and hanging out with other middle school artists.  Please see Mr. Jergenson if you have any questions!  You can sign up through Community Ed online or by calling the Community Education department.

7th and 8th grade students (boys and girls) who are interested in registering for an after-school weightlifting program at Middle School West beginning February 2nd should stop in the office and pick up a registration form.

Congratulations to Elizabeth L.  Elizabeth finished second in the all-around at last night’s junior varsity gymnastics meet.

Have a great day.
