Posted on: Mar 24, 2015

Good morning.  It is Tuesday, March 24th.  It is a day 2.

Today the 7th graders with permission forms sign up for Exploratory Day.  Any 8th or 7th grader that has a signed permission form tomorrow (Wednesday) will come down to the IT lab and sign up first, followed by the 6th Grade.  The 6th graders will be called down by their 6th Grade Academic Seminar teacher’s name.  Keep checking the monitors for any activities that are closed and replace them on your pre-approval form.

Students, many of you were invited to participate in MCA prep sessions before school beginning March 31st with our reading sessions. Please be sure to get your registration in as soon as possible. We are still taking names for interested students who want to improve their MCA scores. There is a basket in the office for your registration slips.

Attention Artists!  Art Club is starting up again!  We meet Wednesdays after school starting tomorrow.  We will be going on a [yet to be determined] fieldtrip on one of the Wednesdays.  Please see Mr. Jergenson or Ms. Poirer if you would like to know more.  Sign up is thru Community Ed online or over the phone.

7th & 8th graders that are planning on playing a spring sport should make sure they are registered by Friday of this week.  Practices start next Monday.

Attention all girls interested in cheerleading next school year.  There will be an informational meeting next Monday from  6-7PM in the Middle School West Lecture Hall for all 8th graders interested in cheering on the sidelines next fall and for all 5th -8th graders interested in the competitive cheer program.  Tryouts will take place the week of April 13th and information packets will be available shortly.

Spring weight lifting begins next Monday.  This session is open to all 6-8 graders.  The first 80 to sign up will be accepted.

Have a great day.
