Good morning.  It is Tuesday, April 18th, it is a day 1. 

Congratulations to the Knights Honor winners for last week.  They are Garrett A. and Lilly C.  Please come down to the office at this time to claim your prize.

7th & 8th grade spring athletes, mid tri is next week.  Make sure you are passing all of your classes, so that you can remain eligible to play your sport.

SOAR this summer!  SOAR is offering a first-ever teen intensive production of Legally Blonde the Musical for ages 13-19.  Also available are summer theater camps for ages 7-12, with productions of Disney's Aristocats, The Magic Treehouse Pirates Past Noon, Pippi Longstocking, and Frankenstein!  Visit for more info and to register!  

Tryouts are Thursday for all 8th graders interested in trying out for the fall sideline cheer team and 6th- 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the varsity or JV competitive cheer teams.  A clinic to prepare for tryouts will take place tonight and tomorrow night from 6-8pm in the Middle School East gym   For more information, check out the STMA Cheerleading website.

There will be an entrepreneurship group from the High School selling their products at lunch today and Thursday. There will be products like sweatshirts, lanyards, hats, popsocket stickers etc. Bring money. The items could range from anywhere between $5-$40. 

WEB is hosting a dodgeball tournament this Friday after school here at East! Form a team and come join in on the fun! Prizes will be awarded! There will be a 5th/6th grade bracket, as well as a 7th/8th grade bracket. The tournament is $5 per person and your team can have up to 10 players. You must submit your registration form/payment by tomorrow. Please turn in your forms to the office!

The 7th grade baseball B team lost their game to Middle School West last Thursday, but not without a fight. Middle School East slowly tightened the score with solid defense, good pitching and quality at-bats. Charlie B. had a big double to start one of the comeback charges and Caleb B. was rounding the bases throughout the night with great at-bats. Neal K. had a strong showing on the mound and fielded his position well. Ethan Y. provided leadership behind the plate while Dorin S., Dylan B. and Max O. played a few different positions to help with solid defense.

Knights Boys Gold Tennis team lost at Buffalo 6-3 last night.  Joe S. won at singles and Tyler H. won at doubles.  Mr. Simpson from East and his two sons came to watch as did many parents and families! 

7th & 8th grade softball teams are at Becker High School tonight.  Dismissal from class is at 2:55.  A games are first.

Boys’ tennis team is home tonight against Monticello at 4:00.  Blue team plays tonight.

7th & 8th grade baseball teams are home tonight against Princeton at 4:30.  A games are first.
