Good morning.  It is Thursday, December 7th, it is a day 2. 

Please register for book club by tomorrow.  The first meeting will be next Monday.

Chess Club starts tomorrow.  Chess players of all abilities are welcome.  Stop in to Mr. Sartori’s room to get a registration form.  Registration and $25 are due to Mr. Sartori by tomorrow. 

Students interested in SoarArts performances should pick up a flyer in the office.

Students interested in signing up for LaCrosse should pick up a flyer in the office.

Attention all 5-8th graders who love to create posters for the chance to win money!The St. Michael Lions are putting on their annual Drug Awareness Poster competition. Create a poster with an anti-drug theme for your chance to win a cash prize!If you are interested, You will need to pick up poster board from Ms. Stairs.  Posters are due back to Ms. Stairs by next Wednesday.

A gold necklace with a pink stone and a silver ring with a clear stone was found in the atrium.  A purple cat on a black clip was found outside.  A pair of black and green glasses were found in Ms. Autio's class.  Please claim these items in the office.

The 7th grade girls’ basketball A and B teams both defeated Big Lake on Tuesday night.  The A team had all ten players score.  Makenzie B. played well on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.  The B team had players trying multiple positions on the court.  All players made positive contributions in the game.  Lukanu B. was active around the basket getting many rebounds and providing nice hustle plays.  Both teams are making strides and positive improvement on the court.

Wrestling team is home tonight (at West) against Princeton at 4:30.

7th grade B girls’ basketball team is home tonight (at East) against North Branch at 4:30.  B game only.

8th grade girls’ basketball teams are home tonight (at East) against North Branch at 4:30.  B game is first.  Gold B team plays.
