Good morning. It is Monday, October 9th, it is a day 1.

Attention 5th and 6th grade students interested in participating in fun activities during academic seminar: Stress Busters will be meeting once a month during Academic Seminar! The counseling department will be offering awesome activities to help you learn about stress and different ways to deal with it! Our first activity is going to be offered to ONLY 5th and 6th grade students this Wednesday in the cafeteria. 5th and 6th graders will have the opportunity to get to get to know other students and their counselors, as well as go on a nature walk with Mr. Jeffery. If you are a 5th or 6th grade student interested in this Stress Buster ask your KORT teacher to sign you up. The first 40 students to sign up will be able participate! See Mrs. Knudson, Mrs. Buskey, or Mrs. Mesna in the Counseling Office with questions.

You can get into Thursday’s swim and dive meet against Cambridge-Isanti for free if you wear your Knights against Cancer t-shirt. Another free event with your t-shirt is Friday’s football game against Stillwater.

There will be an organizational meeting right after school Friday in the cafeteria for all 7th & 8th grade girls interested in playing school basketball this year.

A watch with a white band was has been found. A gold paw print necklace was found in the girls locker room. Some money was found at the Courage Retreat. Please claim these items in the office.

Students in 7th and 8th grade who are interested in weightlifting should pick up a flyer in the office.

Boys in 5th and 6th grade interested in playing in the in-house basketball league should pick up a flyer in the office

Ali W. ran in the 67th annual Swain Cross Country Invitational in Duluth over the weekend. Ali was the individual champion, leading the STMA varsity girls to a first place finish among the twenty teams competing.

Girls’ tennis team is at Cambridge-Isanti High School tonight. Dismissal from class is at 2:55.

Girls’ swim and dive team is at Monticello Middle School tonight. Bus leaves at 3:20.

Girls’ soccer team is home tonight against Monticello at 3:45. A game is first.
