Good morning. It is Monday, May18th. It is a day 3. It is the 160th day of school.
Thank you to all those who entered into the Spring Photo contest, you did a great job! All of the entries were so creative and well done, it made choosing very difficult! After a tough vote, the top three winners are: Ben W., Ava W. and Rogan H. Claim your prizes from Mrs. Lindquist room tomorrow!
Do you see yourself as a leader? Are you energetic? Are you looking to get more involved with your school? Student Council Application are now available in the office! IF you are interested in running for next year’s Student Council pick one up in the office! Application will be due next Wednesday. You can turn in completed applications to Mrs. Manthey or Mrs. Lindquist by 3:05pm. If you have any questions please ask Mrs. Manthey or Mrs. Lindquist .
STMA Fall Performance Dance Team is a non-competitive dance team that may perform at home football games, the homecoming pep fest, and other community events. This dance team is made up of incoming 7th-12th grade athletes. There will be an informational meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 in the high school cafeteria. Registration information can also be found on the Community Ed website.
There will be an organizational meeting for all current 8th grade boys interested in playing school soccer next fall. That meeting will be right after school Wednesday in the cafeteria.
The 8th grade softball team played Elk River's ninth grade team Friday. The team jumped out to an early lead with aggressive base-running and nice base hits. Unfortunately, Elk River took the lead later and shut down a strong rally the Knights had in the sixth inning, beating the Knights 4 - 1.
7th & 8th grade softball teams are home tonight against Big Lake at 3:45. A games are first.
Boys tennis team is at Delano High School tonight. Dismissal from class is at 2:55.
Congratulations to Rachel O. and Annabelle K. Both Rachel and Annabelle were in six activities this school year. Look for their pictures and activities on the monitors.
