Congratulations to the 7th grade A and B volleyball teams on their wins over St.Francis!

Congratulations to both the A and B girls’ soccer teams on some very hard-fought games last night, against St. Francis.  The A team worked incredibly hard to come back and win 2 to 1.  Coach Laird is very proud of these girls and their ability to work as a team and lift each other up, even when the game isn’t going their way.  The tying goal of the game was scored by Eleanor T. from assists by Olivia P. and Emma D.  The tie-breaker was scored by Janelle S. who did an incredible job of following up a rebound from the opposing goalie. The B team players had many opportunities, but unfortunately could not get one past the opposing goalie.  While the score was tied 0-0, all of the girls worked incredibly hard and had possession of the ball for over half of the game.  From offense to defense, each player pushed to work their hardest and played well!"

The boys’ soccer team was phenomenal last night against Princeton!  The A team had some great competition but stayed tough and won 2-0.  Nathan S. scored one of the teams goals.

The 8th grade volleyball team traveled to St. Francis last night and split.  The B team played a very good St. Francis team and came up short in the end.  Hillary G. played very well all around.  Serena W. had a great night serving.  The A team played exceptional and beat St. Francis in all four matches.  Great serving proved to be too much for the Saints.  Ella S. led the way with serving followed by great defense by Tali C.  Olivia L. played well at the net also.  Great job girls.

Next week’s homecoming dress up days are:  Monday is pajama and wacky hair day; Tuesday is KORT theme day;  Wednesday is neon day;  Thursday is flannel and lumber jack day;  Friday is Knights Spirit Day.

Have a great day.
