Good morning.  It is Friday, May 8th.  It is a day 3. 

Congratulations to the Knights Honor winners for this week.  They are Emma O. and Aly J.  Please come down to the office at this time to claim your prize.

Submit your photos for the photo contest by today to Mrs. Laage, Mr. Livers, or Mrs. Autio (You must print on your own time and use your own resources.)  Winner will be announced Monday!  Prizes awarded to top 3 entries!

The health office is running low on cold packs, please return any from your locker.

A pair of glasses were found.  They are pink and black Ray Bans.  Please claim in the office.

5th Grade Boys interested in information regarding 6th Grade Fall Tackle Football should stop in the office and pick up a flyer

There will be an organizational meeting for all boys grades 6-8 interested in playing school soccer next fall.  That meeting will be right after school on May 20th in the cafeteria.

The 7/8 girls summer lacrosse team is in need of three or four more players.  Practices begin next week.  Please contact Brad Meyer at 612.715.8103 today if interested.  The STMA lacrosse website is: http://www.stmalax.com/

7th grade B Goldteam defeated West Wednesday night 9 -3.  Jacob B. played solid defense in left field with picture perfect pop fly catch, in addition to solid pitching from Boden S. and Tyler W.  The bats started to heat up with a double from Luke T. and some needed RBI's from Adam S. and Brooks P.

The STMA golfers took on Cambridge –Isanti on Tuesday atVintage Golf Course.   No team scores were kept, but shooting low rounds for the boys were Jack P. and Josh H. with 1 over par 30’s, Jon N. with a 33, Jake R. with a 36, Tom L. with a 37 and Deven P. with a 39.  The girls’ team was led by Anna L. with a 50, and Kalley B. and Kaytlin Z. with 52.

The 7th grade softball team won both games against Monticello last night.  The  A-team won 6-3 behind solid pitching by Elise W.,  strong catching by Maddie M. and a double play that Morgon C. was part of.  The B-Team won 11-3. Erin G. had a sweet hit.  There was strong batting and running by the whole team.

The 8th grade softball teams split with Monticello Thursday.  The B team lost a close game 12-9.  Maddie P. ended one inning with an unassisted double play.  The A team won 10-5 behind great base running fromMaddie J.

Congratulations to Mary M. and Maddie P.  Both Mary and Maddie were in five activities this school year.  Look for their pictures and activities on the monitors.
