We are three days into our Kids Against Hunger drive and have collected $1,625.94. That is a great start, but a long way from our goal. Two years ago when STME participated in this project we collected over $4,400 and our goal is to exceed this amount in 2014. Our work with Kids Against Hunger in the past has proven to be an very positive and valuable experience for our STME students. On April 23 STME students will, once again, work alongside KAH and pack enough meals to feed over 22,000 hungry children. Every six seconds a child dies from hunger related causes……one out of every four children around the work is malnourished……If you are ready to do something about this, here is your opportunity.
