Welcome! St. Michael Elementary is one of four elementary schools in the St. Michael-Albertville School District. Our student enrollment is around 550, grades 1-4, and is the home of our district’s Early Childhood Special Education program. What’s great about St. Michael Elementary? We have a terrific community of learners, a great staff, and we strive to meet our learners at their level to offer both challenge and success.

MONDAY - 9/26:  PJ and Wacky Hair Day

Stay in your pajama's and don't bother with your hair!!  But remember to bring your gym shoes for Phy Ed and recess and please do not bring stuffed animals to school. Also, NO Hair Dye is allowed on ANY of the dress-up days.

TUESDAY - 9/27: NEON Day

Take a look in your drawers for your BRIGHTEST clothes!  Let your brightness shine, have some fun and BE creative.  Please remember, NO hair-dye is allowed.


Wear your favorite team's jersey or one of your own.  You may also wear a sports hat.  Please do NOT wear pads or helmets.  Please remember NO Hair Dye is allowed.


For mismatch day see how many different patterns you can wear.   Stripes, plaids, checkers and wild color combinations are all ideas you can use for mismatch day.   Please remember that NO Hair Dye is allowed.


Wear Blue & Gold tomorrow as the KNIGHT"S football team takes on the Cambridge-Isanti Blue Jackets.   Wear Blue & Gold to cheer them on to their Homecoming Victory!!  Please remember, no Face Paint or Hair Dye allowed.  Go KNIGHTS!!!

STMA Strategic Plan Parent and Community Listening Session

Parents and community members are invited to participate in the district’s strategic planning process.

A listening session for parents and community members will be held on October 4 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Middle School West Media Center.

The strategic plan will guide the district’s work for the next three-five years. We hope you take the time to share your thoughts with us. Thank you for partnering with us in the education of the district's child(ren).
