Don’t forget to set a reading goal for the summer. Lots of you already have done so by filling out the google form we created for that. Remember the goal is a personal reading goal. It could be a certain number of books, types of books, or an amount of time that you read. Make it realistic and reachable. Ask Mrs. Ferris or any one of your teachers for help if needed in setting a reading goal. Many other places offer incentives for reading over the summer as well such as Barnes and Noble and the public library. Feel free to use your reading goal to achieve one of those goals at the same time. Remember that we will be opening our media center throughout the summer to allow you to check out books to read. It will be approximately every two weeks for a few hours. The schedule will be posted as soon as it is made. Go to the Middle School East Media Center webpage for all the information.

Have a great last day and a great summer.
