Congratulations to the 7th Grade A and B Gold volleyball teams on their wins over Chisago Lakes last Tuesday!

The girls’ soccer team finished their season with two wins over Buffalo last Tuesday.  The B team won 5-1 and finished the season 10-0.  Great job ladies on a great season!  The A team won by a score of 3-1 and finished with a record of 7-2-1.  The defense was excellent once again and Kristina H, and Kiki B scored for the Lady Knights.  Great job ladies!  And to all the girls soccer players, thanks for an amazing season from Coach Peterson and Coach Hackenmueller!

The 7th Grade A football team beat Buffalo last Tuesday 22-8. Ty S and Ben F both scored rushing touchdowns for the Knights. Brandon L also added a long run and a long reception to set up the touchdowns. Defensively, the Knights were strong the entire game. Nolan G and Leo P both made great plays late in the game to help stop the Bison passing attack. Coach Steve and Harmoning would like to thank the boys for being great leaders throughout the season and congratulate both the 7A and 7B teams on undefeated seasons!

The Knights boys soccer team finished their season with some great games against Rockford last Tuesday.  The A team won 5-0.   Dylan H scored one of the goals. The B team lost a close game 2-1 with a goal from Josh L.  Congratulations on a great season!

7th and 8th grade swimmers and divers did an amazing job at their Conference meet last night!  They were up against Buffalo, Cambridge and Monticello.  Despite our swimmers placing 1st and 2nd in over half of the races of the night, Cambridge just had a bigger team and they were able to take the win.  The Knights were very happy with a 2nd place finish overall, and everyone who swam last night should be really proud of themselves!!  Highlights included 2 of our Medley Relay teams placing 1st and 2nd overall-some of the swimmers in these teams were 7th graders Indigo R and Grace D and 8th graders Stella L, Marley A and Grace B.  Grace D and Indigo also took 1st and 2nd place in the 50 yard butterfly, and 8th grader Jordyn A placed 1st in the 200 yard freestyle, and 8th graders Cara A and Breah F were part of an 8th place finishing 200 freestyle relay team that got their best time of the season.  Swimmers, don’t forget your pizza party is tonight right after school in Mrs. Piechowski’s room at West-the shuttle bus will be picking you up at about 3:20 to bring you over and your parents should pick you up at 4:30 at West.  Please bring your warm-ups to turn in and your $5 if you haven’t paid already.
