Announcements - Friday, November 17

Good morning. It is Friday, November 17th, it is a day 3.

Congratulations to the Knights Honor winners for this week. They are Nicole K. and Lucas W. Please come down to the office at this time to claim your prize.

Parent/teacher conferences are next Tuesday from 3:45 until 7:45.

Attention 5th Graders! WEB is hosting an after school “Gobble Gathering” for you tonight from 3:05-5 pm. There will be a lot of fun activities for you to do with the WEB leaders and your friends. The cost is $5 and you can bring extra money if you’d like to buy a snack from concessions. Hope to see all 5th Graders tonight!

7th and 8th grade wrestlers, remember practice begins Monday. Make sure you have your parents register you this week. You won’t be allowed to practice Monday if you are not registered.

Students from the high school will be selling merchandise during lunches on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. Old merchandise will be 20% off. Merchandise includes phone fans, blender bottles, winter hats, choppers, lanyards and more. Bring money next week!

All students need to bring permission forms and fees to their Exploratory Day teachers as soon as possible. You will be meeting with them next Tuesday after attendance is taken in KORT. Please bring them in BEFORE Tuesday if possible.

A black and green cinch bag with a towel in it was found by the bus lot, a gold ring with stones was found in the bathroom by the cafeteria, Please claim these items in the office.

Good morning.  It is Thursday, November 16th, it is a day 2.  It is the 50th day of school.

Parent/teacher conferences are tonight and again next Tuesday from 3:45 until 7:45.

If you are interested in being in Destination Imagination this year, remember your registration form is due tomorrow.

Attention 5th Graders! WEB is hosting an after school “Gobble Gathering” for you tomorrow from 3:05-5 pm.  There will be a lot of fun activities for you to do with the WEB leaders and your friends.  The cost is $5 and you can bring extra money if you’d like to buy a snack from concessions. Are you in choir? We need PICTURES from tomorrow’s KORT event in the gym. Get a camera from Mrs. Kelm or use your device (7th and 8th graders only) with your yearbook ID.

If you love to read and discuss novels, consider joining Middle School East’s book club! Book club will meet on Mondays after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Miss Burton’s room (C323). Meetings will begin on December 4th. All grade and reading levels are welcome. Please speak to Miss Burton or review the Community Education Peachjar flyer for more information.

New magazines are coming in at the Media Center!  We have some fresh and exciting selections that are different from years past, and we think you’ll really enjoy them!  Stop by the Media Center to check them out, and ask Mr. Koenig or Ms. Zachmann if you have any questions about them!”
