The 8th grade girls Blue B basketball team started yesterday's game against Monticello with intensity, but were defeated 28-19 in the closing minutes of the game. They excelled from selfless team play, including vital screens set by Lydia P., and fast break teamwork from Natalie Z. Scoring for the Knights Hannah S. led the team in scoring with nine points.

The 7th grade girls’ basketball A team came away with a 50-17 victory over Cambridge.  Balanced scoring was key in the victory with many different girls make contributions in the score column.  The Knights were very aggressive on defense which resulted in fast break baskets.  The B team also had strong game beating Cambridge 38-11.  Hannah K. had strong game scoring 15 points.  Her quickness and athletic ability allowed her to drive by her defender for easy hoops. Ella H. had a strong game inside that resulted in many positive plays.  Both teams still have areas to improve.  With continued hard work they should see improved free throw shooting and finishing shots at the basket.
