Announcements - Thursday, December 14

Posted on: December 14, 2017

Good morning.  It is Thursday, December 14th, it is a day 1.

The WEB leaders are having their December morning meeting with the 5th graders this tomorrow during KORT. Come down right after attendance.

A blue Instax mini 8 camera was found in Ms. Poirier’s room on Friday.  Please it in the office.

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls’ basketball A Team as they improved their record to 5 wins and 3 losses on the season, with a nice come from behind victory over the Magic in Monticello on Monday afternoon.  The Lady Knights found themselves down by 4 at halftime, but turned up the interior defense, and limited the Magics’ post players in the second half, leading to a 37-32 win.  Contributions came from all the girls. The Blue B Team played a great game, but just couldn’t hit enough shots, as they lost a close game to a solid Magic B team.  Execution of the teams’ offensive sets and out of bounds plays were on full display, and it was awesome to see the girls play unselfish team basketball.

5th & 6th grade choirs are in concert at the PAC tonight in the High School at 6:00.

7th & 8th grade choirs are in concert at the PAC tonight in the High School at 7:30.

Wrestling team is home tonight (at West) against St. Francis at 4:00.

Have a great day.

The 7th grade girls’ basketball A team cruised to victory over St. Louis Park last night.  Playing stingy defense and unselfish offense the girls dominated the game start to finish.  Seven girls scored 6 points or more.  This is shows the balanced attack this team has shown all season.

The 8th grade Gold B basketball team fell to the Monticello Magic yesterday in a tough loss. The girls picked up their defense and attacked the basket in the second half.  Lynzie M. scored 6 points.

Have a great day.
