About Our School
Greetings and welcome to Fieldstone Elementary! I am thrilled and honored to be the principal at Fieldstone Elementary. I’m eager to have the opportunity to work with the children and their families in the St. Michael-Albertville School District.
Fieldstone Elementary is located at 5255 Jansen Ave NE, St. Michael, MN. We’re across from Cedar Creek Golf Course. Fieldstone shares a campus with St. Michael-Albertville’s new High School which opened its doors fall 2009. We currently house about 650 1st-4th graders.
Fieldstone is a wonderful school community and place for children to learn and thrive during their elementary years. We have an incredible staff dedicated to helping all children be successful.

Arrival: Parents who drive their children to and/or from school may drop off or pick up in front of the school. Students should arrive between 7:20 a.m.-7:40 a.m. All students arriving before 7:30 a.m. will be supervised in the neighborhood hallways. Please follow these procedures:
- Drive up into the lane directly in front of the school, slowly pull forward as far as possible and do not pass vehicles. Please stay in line.
- Make sure your children are ready to exit the vehicle immediately on the curbside only. If your children are not ready or cannot exit quickly, please park in the parking lot and walk them to the crosswalk.
- Yield to the pedestrians in the crosswalk between the parking lot and the front entrance of Fieldstone.
If you choose not to drop your children off curbside, please park your vehicle in the parking lot and walk your children to the crosswalk. Please do not drop off children in the parking lot and allow them to walk to the crosswalk without an adult.
Dismissal: Parents will need to enter the building to pick up their children. Students will be allowed to walk out with the crossing guards only if the office has written permission that indicates who will be picking up the children and the make and model of the driver’s automobile.
To ensure the safety of our students, all visitors must report to the office to receive a visitor badge. When you arrive, please ring the bell located to the right of the doors as all doors are locked. Please enter the school through Door A.
All new and prospective volunteers and chaperones require a background check. To complete your background check, click here to visit the District Volunteer webpage. Parents and other volunteers will only need to complete one background check for the entire time their children are enrolled in the district. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 497-0904.
