Licensed/Certified Staff

All licensed/certified teaching and non-teaching positions require licensure by the State of Minnesota. You can apply for a teaching license at the Minnesota Department of Education. An approved background check, I-9 verification, and payroll paperwork must be completed prior to working as an licensed staff member for the STMA School District.

Within the online application, licensed teacher applicants are able to pre-select those positions in which you are most interested. Our online application system also allows you to complete an application for employment for current and future openings.

In your application, please include the following:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Teaching license
  • Copies of all college transcripts (unofficial)
  • Three letters of recommendation dated within the past 12 months
