All teaching and substitute teaching positions require licensure by the State of Minnesota. You can apply for a teaching license at the Minnesota Department of Education.
All permanent and long-term substitute teaching positions require the following to be included with your completed online application: cover letter, resume, teaching license, copies of your official transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
Short-call licenses are available to applicants who have a bachelor’s degree, but not in education. You can apply for a short-call teaching license with the Minnesota department of Education. The Department of Education requires the school district to verify a hardship in locating licensed teachers. To make arrangements for superintendent verification of hardship contact Karen Zachman in the District Office.
