Security Entrance

School safety and security is on the frontlines nationally due to unfortunate tragedies that have cost lives of students and staff around the nation. An area of focus for the district is ensuring buildings are safe and secure for students, staff, and the community. Security best practices have evolved over time and there is a need to make changes to the front entrance of Albertville Primary to maximize student and staff safety.

Construction Date: June 2017 to August 15, 2107


Eight Additional Classrooms

Eight (8) classrooms will be built on the East side of Albertville Primary. The classroom additions will provide space for an additional 160 students and will permit a class size of 500 kindergartners. In addition, the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program will move from St. Michael Elementary to Albertville Primary.

  • Exterior wall framing/sheathing starts the week of January 8
  • Roofing starts the week of January 15
  • Underground plumbing starts the week of January 15
  • Exterior brick starts the week of January 22
