October 9th was a great night for the girls’ tennis team. The Knights faced off against Cambridge-Isanti and went away with team victories. Great individual performances from Ashlynn B., Ellie B., Abby C., Cadence F., Reagan G., Ellie H., Payton L., Sydney R., Abby J., Olivia R., Emily A., Kyra P., and Kendall P. Great work Knights.

The girls’ swim and dive team repeated as Mississippi 8 Conferences champions on October 16th in Cambridge. Julie R. was 2nd in the 100 IM and 2nd in the 50 butterfly, Emma H. was 7th in the 100 freestyle, Ava Y. was 6th in the 100 freestyle and 6th in the 100 backstroke, Avery H. was 5th in the 200 freestyle and 7th in the 100 backstroke, , Emma C. was 4th in the 300 freestyle and 4th in the 100 breaststroke, Ella C. was 3rd in the 200 freestyle and 6th in the 50 butterfly, Jorie E. was 8th in the 50 free, Ava M. was 8th in the 200 freestyle, Maddie V. was 7th in the 100 IM and 3rd in the 100 breaststroke, Ella G. was 5th in the 100 IM and 5th in the 300 freestyle, Emily B. was 5th in the 50 butterfly and 4th in the 100 IM, Malaina S. was 8th in the 300 free style and 7th in the 50 butterfly, Breanna D. was 3rd in the 300 freestyle, Carlie P. was 6th in the 300 freestyle, Becca K. was 2nd in diving, Conference champions were Liv P. who won the 50 free, Carlie P. who won the 50 butterfly, Breanna D. who won the 100 backstroke, and Molly R. who won both the 100 IM and the 100 freestyle. Isabella M., Avery H., Marlee W., Emma H., Allie L., Ella C., Ava Y., Maria W., Hannah T., Emma C., Molly R., Julia R., Olivia B., Ella G., Maddie V., Emily B., Sydney N., Isabella H., Jorie E., Erin H., Alexis D., Carlie P., Malaina S., Aria B.-F., Ella H., and Breanna D. all cut their times. It was a great season for the girls’ swim and dive team.

What a great job the girls swim and dive team did in their meet against on October 9th. The girls were able to swim some events that they hadn't swam before, yet we were able to still get first in all but two events. In one of those events, the 100 breaststroke, Maria W. and Hannah T. got 2nd and 3rd and both posted their best times. Best times were also achieved by Ava M. in the 100 IM, Malalaina S. and Erin H. in the 50 fly, JayLynn R. and Aria B. in the 100 backstroke, Sydney N. in the 100 breaststroke, Avery H. and Bella M. in the 100 free, Emma C. and Carlie P. in the 300 free. The Knights won all of the relays. Emily B. swam the 50 fly for the first time and finished first. Liv P. finished first in the 300 free. 1st and 2nd places in 100 IM were won by Molly R. and Julia R. This was the first time this season that each had swam that event. Once again, Becca K. was first in diving.

The girls swim and dive team continue to swim well and win big! Several girls dropped time on October 2nd at our tri meet with Monticello and Foley including Breanna D. in the 200 free, Carlie P. in 100IM and 50 butterfly, Malaina S. 100 IM, Liv P. 50 free, Aria B-F. in the 50 butterfly, Ella H. in the 100 breaststroke, Emma H.l in the 100 IM, Julia S. in 50 the free, Allie L. 100 free, Ella C. in 300 free. Rebecca K. won the diving. It's fun to watch how well they swim!

The girls swim team won their meet with Buffalo on September 25th by a convincing margin. The girls are swimming stronger every week. Several girls cut time in their events last night. Cutting time in the 100 IM were Breanna D. and Malainia S.. Cutting time in the 50 free were Liv P., Molly R., and Nora A. Cutting time in the 300 free was Ella G , Jorie E. cut her time in the 50 fly. Sydney N. and Julia R. cut their time in the 100 breast stroke. Our divers are doing a great job as Rebecca K., Eva G., Olivia D., and Myra F. all placed. Cutting time in the 100 IM and 50 fly were Carlie P.. Cutting time in the 100 free were Hannah T., Allie L. and Ava Y. Cutting in 100 back was Avery H.

The girls swim and dive team swam really well on September 18th and beat Cambridge/Isanti winning every event except one. The girls swim strokes are looking good with very few mistakes. Aria B-F. beat all of her times from last year last night. Several new swimmers had great swims including JayLynn R., Liv P., Carlie P., Sydney N. and Jenna E. Becca K. did a great job diving. Allie L. had her best 100 free time, Emma H., Ava Y. and Kate R. had great individual swims. Our 8th graders stepped up with great swims too- Emma C., Breanna D., Maddie V. and Malaina S. all had good nights.

What a great first meet for the girls swim team on September 11th at the Mississippi 8 relay meet in Big Lake. Many girls were doing events they hadn't done before. The 8th graders stepped up and helped the new swimmers understand how middle school meets work and cheered for each other. We have a great team and we swam well! Coach Jones is excited to see the great times we will see this season.

Congratulations to the 8th grade A football team on their hard fought victory over Big Lake on October 12th. The Knights dominated the second half, scoring three touchdowns. Scoring for the Knights were Kemry S. and Jarrett B.(2). The Knights were once again stellar on defense. Johnny T. recorded another interception, his third straight game with a pick.The A team Knights ended the season undefeated and no one scored on them the entire season! Wow! What an amazing accomplishement!!Great job Knights!

Congratulations to the 8th grade A team on their decisive victory over Buffalo on October 10th. The Knights cruised to victory over the Bison 38-0. Scoring touchdowns for the Knights were: Jarrett B., Kemry S., Reven S. and Max K. The defense played the best they played all season! Jarrett B. had two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. Johnny T. added another interception.

Congrats to the to the 8th grade football teams on October 5th.The B team notched their first victory of the season defeating Monti 8-6. The Knights put together an impressive drive in the 4th quarter using runs from Ian S. to score! Ian scored the TD and the extra point.The A team battled their way to an 8-0 victory over a very physical Monticello team. Kemry S. scored the lone touchdown for the Knights, trucking three Monticello defenders on his way to the end zone. Jarrett B. added the extra point.Johnny T. added an interception on defense. JP J. had many crucial tackles on defense.

Congratulations to the 8th grade A football team on their victory over Cambridge on September 26th. The Knights rolled to victory over the Bluejackets 47-0.Scoring touchdowns for the Knights were:Kemry S. had two rushing touchdownsUriah P. had one receiving touchdown and a pick sixWill A. had a receiving touchdown, Jarrett B. had a punt return for a touchdown, Max K. had a rushing touchdown, Johnny T. threw the two TD passes. The Knights were also very successful in their extra point attempts. Reven S. kicked three extra points and caught one from Ben B.

Congratulations to the 8th grade A football team on their victory over Middle School East on September 19th. West rode the shoulders of their offensive line to the tune of three rushing touchdowns. Kemry S. led the rushing attack with three scores. Uriah P. hauled in a touchdown pass from Johnny T. to cap the scoring for the Knights. Max K., Ben B., Johnny T. and JP J. added extra points.

Congratulations to the 8th grade football teams on their fine efforts lon September 14th. The A team rolled to victory, crushing Isanti 46-0. Jarrett B., Kemry S. and Reven S. all scored touchdowns for the Knights. Jarrett and Kemry earned theirs on the ground and Revenwas through the air via Johnny T. Johnny added an interception on defense. The B team gave up a touchdown early and then battled back. The Knights had a chance to win the game at the end but their efforts were stopped on the one yard line. Ian S. had the lone touchdown for the B team.

7th Grade A football team lost to Big Lake 6-0 on October 12th. The Knights defense was outstanding. Ethan B. led the team in tackles and a majority of his tackles were for lost yards. Bubba D. had a big interception in the 4th quarter. The difference in the game was turnovers. The knights fumbled four times. Big Lake picked up a Knight fumble and ran it in for a 35 yard touchdown to give them their only score of the night. The B team played Big Lake to a 0-0 tie. The Knights played very good defense against Big Lake.

The 7th grade A football team started out red hot on October 10th against Buffalo in the first half leading by 12 points at halftime. Connor L. ran in from 30 yards. Josh S. caught a 12 yard pass from Alex S. and turned up field for a 35 yard touchdown. In the second half it was all Buffalo. Buffalo scored on a halfback pass for 45 yards and they ran a 60 yard punt back. The Knights held tough on the goal line holding Buffalo out of the end zone twice to secure a tie.

The 7th grade A football team beat Monticello 38-0 on October 5th. Conner L. took the opening kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown. The offensive line play by the Knights was the difference. Shawn S., Connor D., Dan G., Logan T., Josh S., Riley R., and Jacob R. opened up big holes for Tyrone T. who scored two touchdowns. Conner L. scored later in the game along with quarterback Alex S.

7A football team lost to a strong and aggressive Cambridge team 28-0 on September 26th. The Knights did force two fumbles. Josh S. played well at linebacker. Josh had a number of tackles and recovered a fumble.

The 7th grade football A team posted a shutout against East on September 19th. The defense created two big turnovers. Ethan B. caused a fumble and ran it 45 yards for a touchdown. Josh S. had an interception and ran 30 yards. Conner L. ran a 20 yard sweep in for a touchdown to give West 12 points. The B team also defeated East. Alex L. rushed for both touchdowns. Graham A., and Elijah H. both played phenomenal defense acquiring multiple tackles for a loss.

7th grade A team beat Isanti 12-0 on September 14th. Tyrone T. had a 30 yard run for a touchdown along with Connor L. who scored on a 40 yard run. Knights defense played very well lead by Josh S., Shwan S., and Ethan B. The B team won 28-0, Chase R. opened the game with a 60 yard kick return for a touchdown. The Knights played solid defense and kept the Isanti offense from moving the ball much. Elijah H. played a solid defensive game with multiple tackles and a few for a loss.

The boys’ soccer A team ended their season with a 3-1 win over Buffalo on October 16th. Kazmer B. scored the first goal. Weston P. scored on a beautiful penalty kick. Andrew B. scored his first goal of the season. The West and Catholic School B team came back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2. Jake K. birdied the ball into the back corner for one of the goals. Donovan R. scored on a beautiful goal on a crossover assist by Nathan S. Sam D. scored as well. The East B team won their game 3-1 at Buffalo.

The boys’ soccer A team had a phenomenal game on September 28th against North Branch winning 5-1. Scoring goals for the Knights were Riley R., Dylan A., Connor P., Andrew B., Matt A., and Ryan I. The East B team continues to improve, becoming stronger as a team. The B team tied North Branch 1-1 with a goal from Mason W.

The boys’ soccer A team defeated. Francis on September 26th 2-1. Goals were scored by Andrew B.and Robby M. The West B team continues to work together and are playing very well together as a team. They played against a tough team, but proved they would not be a team to mess with. They tied St. Francis 4-4. Scoring the goals were Jake K., Sam D., Donovan R., and Chad R.

The boys’ soccer A team had another great game against Waconia on September 25th. They came out with a 5-3 win with goals from Riley R., Weston P., and Evan A. The East B team put forth a great effort as well and is continuing to play better and better as a team.

The boys’ soccer team was phenomenal on September 21st against Princeton! The A team had some great competition but stayed tough and won 2-0. Goals were scored by Nathan S. and Riley R. The West B team had some great teamwork tonight and came out victorious with a 5-3 win over Princeton. Goals were scored by Bryon E.N., Sam D., and Bjorn W., and two goals from Jake K. Great job boys!

The boys’ soccer team defeated Chisago Lakes on September 19th.

The West boys’ soccer team defeated Cambridge-Isanti 3-2 on September 18th. Sam D. scored two goals and Jake K. scored one. The boys did a great job working tougher as a team, and played smart and aggressive in the second half.

Both girls’ soccer teams ended their season with a bang on October 16th. The A team fell behind 3-0 early, but came roaring back and won with a final score of 4-3. Scoring were Emily Z., Gabby C., Sydney P., and Jadyn W. The A team also had great saves from all five goalies- Marah V., Emily B., Casey F., Sydney P., and Raelin S. The B team won 2-0. Scoring in the second game were Julia D. and Kaitlin C. with two assists from Zaya E. Both keepers in the B game also made some key saves. Congratulations on the great season this year! Keep up the hard work and dedication!
 
Both girls’ soccer teams fell to two very tough East teams on October 12th. The B team played first and lost 1-0. The girls had many chances, but fell just short. Rylee H. had some great saves in goal. The team also had great play, hustle, and dedication from many different players. The A team played the second game of the night and lost 2-0. Emily B. and Marah Van V. both had some key stops in the goal. The girls played very hard and never gave up and gave East a good fight!
 
The girls’ soccer team traveled to Monticello on October 5th. The B team played first and won 2-0. Scoring for the B team was Emily Z. and Zaya E. The B team had a lot of great hustle and determination throughout the game. The A team played the second game of the night and tied 2-2. Scoring for the A team were Jadyn W. and Sydney P. The A team had great saves from Emily B. who played her first full game as goalkeeper. The A team also had great defense and many crucial clearances from the back line.
 
The girls’ soccer A team traveled to North Branch on October 3rd and won 5-1. Scoring for the Knights were Sydney P., Josephine E., Gabby C., and Emma B. The Knights also had great ball control and movement and had great defense throughout the game
 
Both girls’ soccer teams walked away with a victory on September 26th in Chisago Lakes. The A-team won by a final score of 5-1. Scoring in the first game was Raelin S., Sydney P., and Makayla G. The second team won 2-1 with goals from Zaya E., and Rylee H.. Both Zaya and Rylee also made fantastic stops in goal.
 
The B team faced a tough North Branch squad on September 25th and walked away with a hard-fought score of 1-1. Scoring for the B team was Zaya E.. Making huge saves in the goal last night were Edie N. and Olivia O. Leading the back line with key clearances were Nikki B. and Erin Ml. Overall, great play by all involved.
 
The girls’ soccer team split with Cambridge-Isanti on September 21st. The A team finished the game with a frenzy, but ultimately lost 3-2. Scoring for the A team was Sydney P. and Josephine E. with 2 assists from Edie N.. The A team also had great defense and determination from Gabby Cramer, and so many others. The B team won the first game of the night by a score of 5-0. Scoring for the B team was Jadyn W., Zaya E., and Kaitlin C., with an assist from Emily Z.
 
Congratulations to the A and B girls soccer teams on their wins against Becker on September 19th. The A team won 4-1 with a hat trick by Sydney P., and a goal from Raelin S. It was a great team effort on all fronts with key stops by both the defense and the keepers. The B team won 6-0 with goals from Julia D., Olivia O., Edie N., and Nikki B. Keep up the great work girls.
 
The girls’ soccer team split with St. Francis on September 18th. The A-team came out strong, but ultimately lost 4-2. Scoring in the first game was Erin M.l and Raelin S. with an assist by Emily B. Great defense at the goal was also provided by Kristy L. and Marah V.. The second team won 5-0 with goals from Zaya E., Edie N., and Kaitlin C. The second team also had great defense and great goal keeping from all involved.

Congratulations to both girls’ soccer teams on September 14th. Both teams started off strong offensively against Princeton. The B team won the first game 11-1. Zaya E. led the B team in scoring with four goals. Also scoring for the Knights were Edie N., Rylee H., Madison R., and Erin M. In the A game, the Knights won 8-1. Leading the A team in scoring was Raelin S. who ended the night with a hat- trick. Also scoring for the Knights were Sydney P., Casey F., and Olivia B. Both teams also had a great showing from all involved including defenders and goal keepers.

2017 Volleyball - 8th Grade

The 8th grade volleyball team took on Buffalo on October 5th and both teams walked away with wins! Avery K. served 13 points in a row for a season record! Brooklyn D. made some key passes to get the team back on track and Blazeden M. played strong at the net. Avery L. led the B team in serving with their teamwork and hustle showing in all their matches.

The 8th grade volleyball team took on East on October 3rd. The B teams played hard but came up short against East. Tatum B. and Brenna M. had great serving and the team worked hard. The A team fought hard to beat East! They were down 12 points in game 5, but rallied to come back for the win. Fantastic hustle by Faith L. and Blazeden M. helped lead the way, but overall the girls fought every game and have vastly improved their coverage on the court and defense at the net. Well done 8th grade!

8th Grade volleyball team took on Monticello at home on October 2nd with wins for both the A and B teams. Great hustle and teamwork from the A team helped them win. Sophia J. and Jenna J. played strong at the net. Trinity R. and Avery K. contributed with strong serving. The B team had strong serving from Jaricha K, Tatum B, and Kailey B. Both teams are showing great improvement in their coverage on the court! The team takes on East tonight at home.

The girls took on Big Lake on September 25th with hustle and teamwork creating wins for both teams again. Kaitlyn M. and Mady R. made some key passes to lead the offense with Brenna M. and Angelika M. leading in serving. Strong serving and offense from Brooke M., Julia I. and Avery K. led the way for the A team with wins all around. Keep up the great work ladies!

The 8th grade volleyball teams continued their winning streak defeating Chisago Lakes on September 21st. Great serving from Trinity R. and Jenna J. led the A team while Kailey B. and Jaricha K. led the B team.

The 8th grade volleyball team had a strong showing September 18th against the Buffalo Bison. The B team won 4 of 6 games while the A team won all 6! Strong serving from Emily P., Emma T., and Karlee B. led the B team, while Blazden M., Brooke M., and Brooklyn D. led the A team. Both teams worked hard and showed great hustle and teamwork on the floor.
 
The Knights took on Monticello on September 14th and both the A and B teams walked away with wins! Great start to the season ladies! Great serving from Julia I. with 13 points straight set the tone for our Knights. Great net play from Brooke M. and as well as a Metabelle S. Avery L. led in serving with the rest of her team following! Keep up the great work knights! They take on the Buffalo Bison at home on Monday.

2017 Volleyball - 7th Grade

This week the 7th grade Volleyball team has been very successful. Both the A and B teams came away with wins on October 9th and 10th. The A team took 2 of the 3 games against Big Lake on the 9th. Leading the way for the team was Emily O. with some great sets to our hitters. Lauren H. and Tessa J. led the team in serving. The B team was able to win all three games. They were lead by Taylor M. and Holly C. from the serving line. The team was able to play really well in their last game. On Tuesday the Knights took on Chisago Lakes. Again the A team came away with a dominant win. They were led by Madilyn G.from the serving line. The B team also came away with a dominant win. They were led by Mikaylee D. at the serving line. Natalie F. did a great job returning the ball.
 
Both 7th grade A and B volleyball teams won against Buffalo on October 5th. Each team went 5 and 1. The B team was able to pull off a win with some quick hustling on the court by all members of the team. After a slow start they came back to win the rest of the games. All players were able to move their feet and serve the ball. The A team has been working very hard to receive the ball and they were able to work together for the win. All members of each team contributed to the wins.
 
The 7th grade volleyball team is busy this week. They were able to defeat Monticello 6 to 0 on October 2nd but fell to East 4 to 2 on October 3rd. After a rough start serving the girls were able to come back and dominate at serving against Monticello. The Knights were led by Maddie G., Lauren H., Makiah K., Emily O., and Kassie M. On Tuesday the Knights fell to East in many hard fought matches. The Knights saw some great plays at the net from T. Johnson and Lauren H. The B team also split this week. However they lost to Monticello 5-1 and beat East 4 to 2. In the game against Monticello we were led by strong play from Holly C. In the win over East they were lea by Emma C. and Mikaylee D. who had no fear and went after the ball. They were also led by strong serving from Taylor M.
 
On September 28th, the 7th grade volleyball team took on St. Francis. Again both the A and B teams came away with wins. The B team won 2 to 1. After dropping the second game they were able to come back in the third game for the win. They were
able to make some great plays. Taylor M. made the last play to put the Knights ahead 25 to 23. Alyssa S. was able to earn many points for the Knights with her serving. Jocelyn K. also served very well. The A team was able to win 3 to 0. The Knights had to come from behind in both game one and three. Julia W.led the Knights in serving. The Knights had some great plays from Maddie G. All our setters continue to do a great job.
 
On September 25th, the 7th grade volleyball team played Big Lake. Both A and B teams came away with wins. The B team lost the first game but came back strong ready to play and took the next two games. Mikaylee D. dominated from the serving line. Jocelyn K. was able to help get some key plays over the net to help the Knights in their win. In the A game the Knights dominated 3 to 0. The Knights gave up fewer than 12 points in each game. Makiah K. came up big on the serving line. We were able to get some great hits from Julia W. All of our setters continue to work hard at getting the ball to our hitter.
 
7th grade Volleyball took on Chisago Lakes on September 21st. Both A and B teams came out with dominant wins. The B team won 3 to 0. Scoring big for the Knights were Natalie F., Mikaylee D., and Holly C. We had some great plays from Alyssa S. and Jocelyn K. The A team also won 3 to 0. The Knights again dominated with our serving. We weren’t able to have many plays because our servers made it too hard to return the ball. Some of the big servers on the night were Lauren H., Maddie G., and Julia W

 

On September 18th the 7th grade Volleyball teams took on Buffalo. Both A and B teams came away with wins. The B team won 4 to 2. They were led by Taylor M., Holly C., and Emmal C. with some tough serving. Mikaylee D. provided some great offense with some hard to get returns over the net. The A team won 5 to 1 and dominated the serving line. Our top server for the night was Madilyn Gartner with over 20 aces. The team also saw some great serving from Mikaiah K. and Kassie M. The team was also able to get in some hitting from Emily O, Molly R., and Madilyn G.

The 7th grade Volleyball team is off to a great start this season. On September 14th, we played Monticello. The A team came away with a 4 to 2 win. Our B team lost but was able to pull off one win on the night. The A team was led by strong serving from Maddie G. Lauren H., Emily O., and Julie W We had some great plays at the nets from Molly R. All our setters are new to the position and did a great job moving to the ball. The B team was lead by Mikaylee D., Emma C. and Taylor M. with very strong serves. Each game was close. Great job 7th grade.

The Cross Country team finished its season on October 17th at the Mississippi 8 conference meet in Monticello. The boys ran their best race of the season and finished 4th in a tight scoring battle.  Kyle R. turned in his best race of the year finishing 5th overall to lead the Knights.  The team showed great depth as Dalton C. (9th) Gavin R. (18th), Adam H. (20th), John H. (28th) and Gavin G. (30th)  all won individual ribbons.  The Girls team finished a close second.  Becca I. got 2nd place overall in leading the team.  Emelia W. (12th), Addie O. (13th), Natalie Z. (16th), Emma V. (17th), Grace B. (19th) and Jamie L. (29th) all earned individual ribbons for the Knights. Coach Cleveland and Coach Hertwig would like to congratulate and thank the athletes for their positive attitude and work ethic this season.  We put in more miles than we ever have during the season and it paid off in the end.

The cross country teams ran at Princeton on October 10th. The girls team came home with their first team win of the year. The girls ran very well and got a low team score of 22. Becca I. and Addie O. led the way with a 1-2 finish. Also scoring and earning medals for the girls were, Emelia W., Jamie L., Emma V. and Natalie Z. Having their best team finish ever were Grace B., Ella S. and Cailey A. The boys team finished 4th. They were led by Dalton C’s 8th place finish. Kyle R., Adam H., Gavin R., Bobby C., and Eli P. all scored for the Knights.

The Cross Country team ran at the Rec Center on October 3rd and had a great performance. The girls team finished in 2nd place and the boys team finished in 3rd. Becca I. once again led the girls team by winning the individual championship. Addie O. finished in 3rd place. Rounding out the top finishers for the Knights were Emma V. (11th), Jamie L. (13th), Natalie Z. (14th), Grace B. (15th) and Emilia W. (16th). The girls earned 17 of the 35 ribbons that were awarded in the meet. The boys were led by Dalton C.’s 8th place finish. Kyle R. (9th), Adam H. (17th), Gavin R. (19th), John H. (26th) and Caleb R. (27th) were other top finishers for the boys.

After a week and a half of tough workouts, the Cross Country teams got to compete at the Buffalo Invitational on September 28th. The girls team finished in second place and were led by overall individual champion Becca I. Addie O. wasn’t far behind finishing in 6th place. Other top finishers for the Knights were, Emma V. 16th, Jamie L. 20th, Elise S. 21st and Natalie Z. 22nd. The boys team finished in 3rd place thanks to a tie-breaking finishes by Ryan E. and Gavin G. Ryan and Gavin finished ahead of a runner from Monticello and that was the tie-breaker. Dalton C. led the team with a fantastic 6th place finish. Kyle R., finished 13th, Adam H. 16th, Bobby C.23rd, and Gavin R. 24th rounded out the top 5 STMA finishers.

On September 19th, the STMA Cross Country team ran an intraquad meet. In the boys’ race, the White team came in first with 66 pts. Members of the winning team were Bobby C., Gavin G., Hayden H., Hunter P., and Nathan E. Coming in second place was the Black team . Dalton C. was the individual champion, followed by Adam H. and Kyle R. The winning team in the girls’ race was the Black team. Members of that team were Emelia W, Emma V., Ella S., Tam L., Lily B., Jade G. and Mia M. Second place went to the Orange team. Becca I. was the individual champion, followed by Addie O. and Emelia W.

Congratulations to the Cross Country teams on their first meet of the year on September 9th. The boys took home 5th place out of 11 teams. Dalton C. led the way with an 8th place finish. Kyle R. finished 21st, Adam H. (31st), Caleb R. (33rd) Bobby C. (35th) and Gavin R. (36th), were the other top finishers. The girls team got 4th place. Becca I. ran a great race and finished in 2nd place out of 100 runners. Addie O. also ran well coming in 10th. Rounding out the top 6 were, Emma V. (26th), Emelia W. (28th), Leah T. (37th) and Jamie L. (38th)
